CSRD: Implementation and beyond

GRI has designed a free series of briefings, the CSRD Essentials. Crafted over six months on the initiative and with the support of MEP Pascal Durand, they outline key features of the CSRD Directive, fostering deeper comprehension and engagement for companies and stakeholders worldwide.

The adoption of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) in December 2022 marks a pivotal moment for the EU: under this directive, companies are mandated to report on their environmental and social impact, ensuring standardized reporting and transparency.

This initiative aims not only to expand the boundaries of sustainability reporting, but also to address abuses within global supply chains. With over 130 countries worldwide enforcing sustainability reporting, the CSRD also aligns with other relevant global standards.
