Climate Governance Initiative and Chapter Zero – addressing climate change at board level

Lokalizacja: On-line,

The world is facing an immense climate change challenge. Governments are implementing policies aimed at ensuring economic transformation towards low- and zero-emission. Yet, to make those changes efficient and prevalent, it is crucial to involve the business world. Nowadays, getting the companies ready for climate change-related challenges should be one of fundamental activities of regulatory bodies and company supervisory boards.

Chapter Zero Organizations, established in over 20 countries, are part of a global Climate Governance Initiative of the World Economic Forum, which clusters together the members of supervisory boards. Members of supervisory boards willing to get actively involved in climate actions, shape company policies in line with the rules adopted in the Principles for Effective Climate Governance and build on international experience, can join in local programs.

On 23 September (10:00 AM – 11:00 AM) Deloitte would like to invite you to take part in a webinar during which your will learn, among others, about:

  • the international Climate Governance Initiative – Chapter Zero and to what extent it supports supervisory board members
