Let others see you at CSR Marketplace in Poland

Companies and organizations which have implemented corporate social responsibility and sustainable practices, or offer services related to these areas, are invited to present their activities in the field at the 6th CSR Marketplace. The event will take place on 17 November 2016 at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw. The CSR Marketplace is organized by the Responsible Business Forum.

This year is the sixth time that exhibitors and visitors will meet at the CSR Marketplace in Warsaw. The event will take place on 17 November 2016 in the Gallery at the PGE Narodowy Stadium (ADMISSION IS FREE; the event website: https://odpowiedzialnybiznes.pl/targicsr/). Many companies and organizations which have embedded corporate social responsibility and sustainable development in their management strategies, or have provided support to businesses in this respect, regard the CSR Marketplace as a unique opportunity to showcase their activities: projects, services or campaigns related to educational initiatives undertaken by the business sector, volunteering, social or community engagement programmes, and practices in support of such stakeholders as employees, suppliers, customers, and local communities.

THE OFFER FOR EXHIBITORS IS AVAILABLE AT: https://odpowiedzialnybiznes.pl/targicsr/oferta/

“We organize the CSR Marketplace in order to provide a space for businesses to meet with their environment. Our aim is to explain and remind everyone what corporate social responsibility is about. We want to show the companies which have paved their way to success by incorporating CSR into their business strategies and following CSR principles in their day-to-day operations,” explains Marzena Strzelczak, Director General, Responsible Business Forum. “In terms of format or scale, the CSR Marketplace compares to no other event bringing together people involved in CSR in Poland. We encourage companies to join the ranks of exhibitors and share their CSR practices” she adds.

A space for presentation

The CSR Marketplace is open to the general public (admission is free). This said, exhibitors are free to invite their own customers, business partners or employees to their stand. What is more, the event will be broadcast online, so the participating companies and organizations will benefit from an additional communications channel to showcase their CSR activities. With such a wide audience, they will also be able to reach new stakeholders, including the media, to promote their practices.

A space for discussion

The event is a great opportunity to establish new relationships and build a dialogue with diverse actors. The more so as the audience of the CSR Marketplace includes representatives from companies interested in the development and implementation of CSR practices, representatives of public administration and other institutions, journalists, consumers, students, representatives of NGOs, people interested in educational initiatives undertaken by business actors, and all who care about CSR and sustainable development.

A space for knowledge acquisition

The organizers intend to use diverse forms of presentation to promote issues related to CSR, including conference sessions, interviews/talks on the main stage, and the launch of a publication devoted to CSR strategies, not to mention exhibition stands. The event will be broadcast online and covered on social media channels and websites with the hashtag #TargiCSR. The coverage will allow exhibitors not only to be present at the venue, but also to take active part in the conference sessions accompanying the CSR Marketplace.

The conference sessions will focus on the business sector’s educational activity. A list of initiatives aimed at improving the awareness of, and providing education for business stakeholders in such areas as health, safety, environment, labour market, consumerism, supplier relationships, lifestyle, culture, technology, science, and development, will be announced for the first time during the CSR Marketplace. The list has been compiled by the Responsible Business Forum and “Rzeczpospolita” daily.

The CSR Marketplace is the biggest Polish event dedicated to corporate social responsibility. It has been held biannually since 2005 by the Responsible Business Forum. The aim of the event is to showcase the activities and practices of socially responsible companies, and to promote services in this area. The organizers expect around 60 exhibitors and 1200 visitors to attend the 6th edition of the event in 2016.
