We know the best employers for Diversity & Inclusion in Poland. Responsible Business Forum announces Diversity IN Check results

23 czerwca 2021

Thirty-one organizations – mainly large companies – are on the first List of the best employers for Diversity & Inclusion in Poland. The list is based on the results of the Diversity IN Check survey by the Responsible Business Forum and a group of partner organizations. The list was announced online. The broadcast transcript is available on the Diversity Charter’s Facebook profile.

Diversity IN Check is a tool for diagnosing the degree of maturity of employers in managing diversity and building inclusive organizations. The survey is designed according to internationally recognized standards and guidelines, including SDGs, ISO 26000, GRI Standards, and OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. The survey questions are arranged into five thematic areas: Governance fundamentals, Programmes and Measures, Building Engagement, Performance Indicators, and additional questions related to COVID-19.

– We aspired to build a tool to address the growing needs of employers in terms of a strategic approach to Diversity & Inclusion. As a coordinator of the Diversity Charter, we strive to support employers in their efforts to build an inclusive labour market in Poland. As in the area of diversity management, it is essential to measure the effectiveness of actions taken so far, that is why we are delighted with the interest in Diversity IN Check. We are convinced that the survey results will provide valuable support to all organisations in terms of the evaluation of existing initiatives and setting priorities for future actions. We recognize that the educational value of this survey is paramount. I would like to congratulate employers who made it to the first edition of our list, but I would also wish to thank all of the survey participants. I am pretty sure that many of these employers will be represented in the next edition, that next year this group will become bigger. We want to promote diversity management and inclusion among the widest group of employers and work together for social cohesion. My gratitude also goes to the partners and patrons we are working with on this initiative. Together, we invite you to participate in next year’s edition of the survey – says Marzena Strzelczak, President & General Director of the Responsible Business Forum.

On May 27, in celebration of Diversity Month, the first List of best employers for Diversity & Inclusion in Poland was announced. The list is based on results of the Diversity IN Check survey. The broadcast transcript of the event is available on the Diversity Charter’s profile on Facebook.
