Greening Financial Institutions

W dniach 8-9 września w Karsruhe w Niemczech odbędzie się dwudniowa międzynarodowa konferencja „Greening Financial Institutions”.

This event will bring together senior executives of financial institutions, academia, regulators, economists, financial analysts, investment brokers, sustainable development practitioners, environmental management professionals, representatives of governmental organisations and international development agencies and other relevant stakeholders engaged or interested in issues related to sustainable economy. The delegates will discuss key emerging issues including: climate change and emergence of the green economy; how is the transformation from high to low carbon and sustainable economy affecting financial sector; and initiatives needed to prepare financial institutions for the next economy – the green economy. The conference provides a good opportunity to deliberate on how financial industry can be one of the key driving forces in reducing our ecological footprint and at the same time benefit from the growing green markets.
