In Poland responsible business is growing at a rate of 30%

The report "Responsible Business in Poland. Good practices", which is the largest CSR review in Poland has been published for the 17th time. In this year's edition of the publication, there is an increase of 30 percent both in terms of the number of submitted practices and the number of companies. This is also another record in the report issued by the Responsible Business Forum, the premiere of which took place on 28 March this year in Warsaw.

CSR specialist to be officially added to the Polish list of occupations of the Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Policy

A corporate social responsibility specialist will be officially added to the Polish classification of occupations and specializations for labor market purposes in its next amendment. This is the result of nearly two years of work done by the Responsible Business Forum in cooperation with experts from companies participating in its Partnership Program, which together with the association contribute to the popularization of CSR standards in Poland.

The COP24 Climate Summit is a particularly anticipated event scheduled for the beginning of December. It is a key meeting from both a political and business perspective. An important item on its agenda is the World Climate Summit Investment COP, organised on 11–12 December in Katowice by World Climate Ltd., UNDP, IRENA. International CSR organisations meet in Poland to discuss the future of responsible business

On 18-19 October 2018, representatives of CSR Europe member organisations met in Warsaw to discuss the development of responsible business practices, the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as its action plan and cooperation strategy. This was the second meeting in Poland co-hosted by the Responsible Business Forum.

Good Practices” provides more than a thousand examples of corporate social responsibility activities. 1,190 good business practices in corporate social responsibility and sustainable development are presented in the latest report “Responsible Business in Poland 2017. Good Practices” issued by the Responsible Business Forum. This is over 300 practices more than in the last year’s report and another record-breaking number in the 16-year history of the publications, which points to the steady and increasingly stronger development of the CSR concept in Poland.

Responsible businesses welcome to present their good practices at the CSR Marketplace in Poland

Companies and organizations which carry out corporate social responsibility and sustainable development initiatives, or offer services in these areas, are invited to present their activities at the 7th CSR Marketplace. The event will take place in Warsaw on 12 April 2018. The CSR Marketplace is organized by the Responsible Business Forum in Poland.

Best Reports Announced

This is the 11th year that the awards recognizing the best CSR and sustainability reports have been given. The winners of this year’s edition of the CSR Reports Competition were announced on 10 October. Based on the jury’s decision, the top organisations in terms of non-financial reporting for 2016 in Poland are: CEMEX Polska, PKN ORLEN, Bank Zachodni WBK, Budimex, Lafarge, and the Doctor Piotr Janaszek PODAJ DALEJ Foundation. The CSR Reports Competition is hosted by the Responsible Business Forum in Poland and the consulting firm Deloitte.

For the last 10 years, the Responsible Business Forum has partnered with Deloitte in the organization of the CSR Reports Competition, devised to popularise non-financial reporting and to showcase relevant good corporate practices. Companies want to grow responsibly

The 13th edition of the report entitled ‘Responsible Business in Poland. Best Practices’ has just been published. As in previous years, also this time the number of notified practices is higher than the last year’s figure. The Report brings nearly 700 examples of CSR practices, with nearly one third being long-term activities.
